The Patroness of the Americas, Our Lady of Guadalupe, is a symbol of hope and solace

As part of its Advent observance, Saint Monica School in South Philadelphia will host a card making day for young students who participate in the Saint Monica Prayer Partner program. The cards and gifts will be sent to homebound parishioners in the Saint Monica Eldercare Program, a ministry of Catholic Health Care Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Martha’s Choice Marketplace, a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia recently received a $2,000 grant from The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia and a $10,000 grant from the Patricia Kind Family Foundation in support of its newly-established nutrition education program, “Community Cooks.”
