Cardinal O’Hara community to cheer team at sendoff before they depart for Hershey.
The Cardinal O’Hara High School (COHS) Girls’ Basketball Team from Springfield (Delaware County) will contend for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 5A State Championship when they play Chartiers Valley High School from Bridgeville (Allegheny County).
The COHS community as well as members of the school’s Pep Band will gather to cheer the Lady Lions at a sendoff as they depart ahead of their game on Friday, March 25 at 5:00 p.m. at the Giant Center in Hershey (Dauphin County). The COHS Girls’ Basketball team will walk out to the back parking lot. The bus will located at the main doors of the gymnasium entrance.

The game will be televised live on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) pcntv.com/basketball/.
In addition, the Archbishop Wood High School Girls’ Basketball Team from Warminster (Bucks County will play in the PIAA Girls 4A State Championship game on Thursday, March 24 at 5:00 p.m. against Lansdale Catholic High School from Lansdale (Montgomery County). Also playing are the Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School Boys’ Basketball Team who will play in the PIAA Boys 4A Championship at 7:30 p.m. against Quaker Valley High School from Leetsdale (Allegheny County). The Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School Girls’ Team will play in the PIAA 3A Championship game on Saturday, March 26 at 12:00 p.m. against Freedom Area Senior High School from Freedom (Beaver County). The Archbishop Wood High School Boys’ Basketball Team will play in the PIAA 6A Championship game against Roman Catholic High School at 7:30 p.m.
