BLOCS Announces $1M Donation to Saint Francis de Sales School

King of Prussia, PA: Jim Downey, Development Manager at Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS) will be on hand Tuesday, December 15 at 10:00 am to present a check to Administrators at Saint Francis de Sales School in Philadelphia from an anonymous donor in the amount of $1 million dollars.

Representing the donor will be Bob Simpson, CPA, MST; Partner of Brinker Simpson Certified Public Accountants & Advisors.

The gift was made to Saint Francis de Sales through BLOCS’ EITC/OSTC Tax Credit program, which allows donors to redirect their state tax liabilities to award scholarship monies to students & families in need.

The check presentation will occur at 10:00 am on school grounds. Parking for members of the media who wish to attend will be available next to the church. School address is: 917 S. 47th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19143. There will be students in attendance to participate in the check presentation ceremony and school administration will perform limited tours to anyone interested.
