Bishop Chylinski will also formally open the school’s new Saint Rita of Cascia Mind, Heart, & Spirit Wellness Center with a blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, the Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia who oversees Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will visit Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield (Delaware County) and celebrate Mass for the school community. Reverend August Taglianetti, Campus Minister, will concelebrate.
Cardinal O’Hara students will serve as readers, altar servers, and presenters of the offertory gifts. In addition, Cardinal O’Hara students will provide music during Mass.

Following Mass, leadership from Cardinal O’Hara High School will be joined by representatives from the Ambassador’s Fund for Catholic Education including Andrew McCloskey, President, and Megan Famular, Director of Grants Management, as well as Steven Clement, Chief Administrative Officer for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Education, to formally open and dedicate the new Saint Rita of Cascia Mind, Heart, & Spirit Wellness Center. Bishop Chylinski will offer a blessing prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony. The new center will support a variety of student needs.
Bishop Chylinski will also meet students and tour Cardinal O’Hara High School.

The Saint Rita of Cascia Mind, Heart, & Spirit Wellness Center was made possible through a grant from the Ambassador’s Fund for Catholic Education, the successor name to the Archdiocesan Education Fund. This charitable organization was created and funded by Matthew H. McCloskey, Jr. (1893-1973), building contractor and U.S. Ambassador to Ireland (1962-64), in 1967 to advance Catholic education and evangelization throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
