Archdiocese of Philadelphia Kicks Off the 2023 #iGiveCatholic Advanced Giving Phase

#iGiveCatholic is nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day, hosted on
#GivingTuesday, that celebrates and supports parishes, schools, and charitable ministries.

PHILADELPHIA, November 13, 2023 The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is partnering with The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia to participate in #iGiveCatholic for the fourth year in a row.

#iGiveCatholic is nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day. It is celebrated annually on #GivingTuesday (November 28th), which follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. The Advanced Giving Phase is taking place now through November 27th.

Last year, #iGiveCatholic raised more than $1.5M for 102 Catholic parishes, schools, and charitable ministries within the five-county Archdiocese. This year, 169 organizations are signed up to participate in the #iGiveCatholic initiative, including all 15 Archdiocesan high schools, which is the most to ever sign up.

#iGiveCatholic presents an opportunity for Catholics, and all those who support the Church’s good works, to affirm their belief in serving others. It also gives parishes, schools, and charitable ministries the chance to rally support for the work of their organizations during a season traditionally associated with giving.

Special recognition goes to our Lead Level Sponsors: Kennedy Printing, Merrill Lynch, and Stradley Ronon Stevens and Young LLP, as well as our Partner Level Sponsors: PNC, Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr, LLP, and Troutman Pepper for supporting the 2023 #iGiveCatholic initiative. They are providing prize incentives for all participating organizations, giving them an opportunity to raise extra funds through #iGiveCatholic.
