ARCHBISHOP PÉREZ WILL BLESS OUR LADY OF ANGELS REGIONAL SCHOOL’S
NEW SCHOOL BUILDING
OLA suffered a devastating fire in July 2018 that completely destroyed the previous school building.
Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will bless Our Lady of Angels Regional School (OLA) new school building in Morton (Delaware County).
The Archbishop will be joined by Reverend James Goerner, Pastor, Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Parish in Morton (Delaware County); Reverend Quan Tran, Parochial Vicar, OLPH; and Reverend Roland Slobogin, Pastor, Our Lady of Fatima Church in Secane (Delaware County). In addition, Mr. Bill Haburcak, Chairperson, OLA Board of Limited Jurisdiction, Mrs. Susan Lowe, Principal, OLA; Mrs. Bernadette Dougherty, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and the OLA Student Council Executive Board Members will be in attendance for the prayer service.
In July 2018, OLA suffered a devastating fire that completely destroyed the school building. The school temporarily moved into a portion of Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield (Delaware County) for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school year while OLA was rebuilt.
