Archbishop Pérez will announce this year’s fundraising goals and highlight the Catholic Charities Appeal’s impact on those served by the social service and educational ministries of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will launch the 2024 Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) at a news conference. CCA is the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s largest annual fundraising initiative benefiting hundreds of thousands of people through countless organizations and ministries throughout the five-county Archdiocese.

Archbishop Pérez will be joined by Mr. Ernest W. Russom III, President of the CCA Board of Directors.
Representatives from ministries benefitting from CCA will also be on hand including Mrs. Heather Huot, Secretary for Catholic Human Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the largest faith-based human services provider in Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Ms. Katie Bier, Principal of Our Lady of Confidence School, one of three Archdiocesan Schools of Special Education. Both will offer brief remarks about the impact of the CCA.
