Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez to Celebrate Respect Life Sunday Mass

The Respect Life Sunday Mass marks the beginning of Respect Life Month

Faithful across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are invited to mark the beginning of Respect Life Month at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will be the principal celebrant and homilist at the annual Respect Life Sunday Mass. Organized by the Archdiocesan Office for Life and Family, the Respect Life Sunday Mass is a celebration of the Church’s pro-life teachings. The Office for Life and Family promotes respect for human life from conception to natural death through education, advocacy, and pastoral care programs.

A brunch reception with the Sisters of Life will follow the Mass. To RSVP for the brunch, please click here. The Mass will also kick-off the fall 40 Days for Life campaign. 40 Days for Life is an international effort to end abortion through prayer, fasting, and community outreach.

Free parking will be available in the parking lot adjacent to the Cathedral Basilica.
