Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will bless and dedicate the Career Pathways Academy (CPA) Building at Father Judge High School (FJHS) in Northeast Philadelphia.
Very Reverend Jack Kolodziej, OSFS, Provincial Superior of the Wilmington-Philadelphia Province of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales, will also be present.

The new CPA building has a total project cost of $11.5 million and features a 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility dedicated to delivering Career & Technical Education (CTE) curriculum in high priority occupations. The Connelly Welding Lab, the Elliott-Lewis Mechanical Services Institute, and the Faulkner Automotive Institute are flagship programs offered to students.
The CTE initiative provides students at the school with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers while continuing to strive to become lifelong learners. For the 2024-2025 academic year, there are 100 students enrolled in the CTE curriculum including 75 students in the welding program and 25 students in the automotive program. The mechanical services program is projected to open in the fall of 2025.
Brian Patrick King ‘97, President of Father Judge High School will offer brief remarks. Representatives from the Office of Catholic Education will also be present.
Following the blessing and dedication of the CPA building a ribbon cutting will take place. The Archbishop will tour the new building to see first-hand the students utilizing their skills. For more information about the CTE curriculum, please visit here.
