Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez Calls on All People of Goodwill to Virtually Participate in the “Prayers for Our City: From Our Traditions” Interfaith Prayer Gathering

Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez encourages all people of goodwill throughout the region to participate virtually in the Prayers for Our City: From Our Traditions interfaith prayer gathering on Monday, October 5, 2020.

This ecumenical gathering is being hosted by the Religious Leaders Council of Greater Philadelphia. It will draw upon the rich resources of various faith traditions to lament and confess the sin of racism and commit ourselves to the sacred work of dismantling racism and constructing a just society.

Editor’s Note: The Religious Leaders Council of Greater Philadelphia was founded in April 2006, in order to build relationships of mutual support, offer a moral and spiritual voice in the region, and identify issues of local concern for dialogue and action. Co-convened by Archbishop Nelsen J.
