Born in Wichita, Kansas, Rev. Mr. Kevin T. Mulligan has been serving as a deacon during the summer at Saint Patrick Parish in Center City. He attended Saint Helena Elementary School and Bishop Kenrick High School in Montgomery County. He received his Bachelor of Arts at Slippery Rock State College and Master of Divinity Degree at Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary (a seminary for men thirty years and older) in Weston, Massachusetts.

The homilist will be Reverend Paul E. Miceli, Dean of Seminarians at Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary.
There are seven men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2015. Each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish.
