Archbishop Chaput to Join Over 100 Philly Catholic Young Adults for Q&A

Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will join over 100 local young adults during a presentation and Q&A session hosted by The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office for Catechetical Formation’s Philly Catholic Youth and Young Adult Ministry (YYAM).

The event is titled, “Chat with Chaput.” The evening will open with a musical performance by Teresa Peterson, Philadelphia based singer/songwriter and worship leader who has performed at venues including SXSW in Austin, Texas. The “Chat with Chaput” is the kick-off to a summer of planned fellowship activities in advance of Pope Francis’s visit to Philadelphia and the World Meeting of Families-Philadelphia 2015 in September.

Attendees have been invited to submit their questions to the Archbishop via online platforms including email and the Philly Catholic YYAM official Facebook page as well as in-person during the Q&A being held at the Field House, a restaurant & sports bar in Center City. The Archbishop will be asked a variety of questions during the informal gathering on topics that will likely range from his journey to his vocation to the Priesthood, personal interests, and the upcoming World Meeting of Families-Philadelphia 2015 in September. The emcee for the event will be Joe Lindsley, parishioner of Saint Francis Xavier Parish in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia and member of the independent Adelphos Committee, a group of volunteers working to build community among Philadelphia’s young adults in advance of the World Meeting of Families.
