Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will be the principal celebrant and homilist at the 18th Annual Cultural Heritage Mass. This Mass celebrates the rich history and cultural diversity among the faithful of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Catholics from diverse ethnic and immigrant communities gather each year at the Cultural Heritage Mass to celebrate their heritage. Participants from approximately 25 countries will join in the opening procession carrying banners and wearing ethnic clothing.
In addition to a large procession honoring ethnic diversity, seven choirs will provide multilingual music throughout the Mass. Scriptures readings and prayers will be proclaimed in nine different languages including Arabic, Swahili, Vietnamese, Sierra Leonean Creole, Urdu, Mandarin, French, Portuguese and Korean. All are welcome to attend.
The Cultural Heritage Mass is sponsored by the Office for Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees.
