2026 Catholic Charities Appeal Sets Goal Of $10 Million And Will Launch in Parishes Throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia with In-Pew Commitment Weekend On February 21-22

The Annual Catholic Charities Appeal is the largest single fundraising initiative in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It supports the charitable ministries of the Catholic Church of Philadelphia that tangibly share the compassionate love of Christ and give hope to all those in need.

During the weekend of February 21-22, parishes throughout the five-county region will unite in support of the Annual Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia during In-Pew Commitment Weekend. It is a time for all those gathering at Mass to focus prayerfully on the power of the people of the local Church to transform the lives of those in need through generosity, mercy, and compassionate service modeled on the love of Jesus Christ.

The Catholic Charities Appeal is the Archdiocese’s largest annual fundraising effort. It supports more than 100 charitable ministries and programs operated by the local Church that serve as the hands of Christ impacting one in five people throughout the region each year. CCA enables these ministries to provide food, shelter, education, and care, bringing tangible hope to those most in need. This year’s CCA carries the theme “Giving Hope to All” and seeks to raise $10 million to continue this life-changing mission.

In 2025, CCA raised over $8.4 million thanks to the generosity of more than 35,700 people whose gifts supported and sustained vital ministries and programs that bring Christ’s love to those in need.
