Parking, Video and Audio Feeds, Reporter Seating

Live truck parking will be on a reserved basis with one space per news outlet. Parking requests should be sent to the attention of Alyssa McFadden in the Archdiocesan Office for Communications at [email protected].

Given space limitations inside the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, no television cameras will be permitted inside the Cathedral on the day of the installation. As it has done with previous special events, including the Mass celebrated by Pope Francis in 2015, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will provide a direct broadcast feed for all media outlets.

Video and audio mult-box clean feeds will be available with multiple HD-SDI video (BNC) and mic/line (XLR) connections. Broadcast Media outlets will have parking space in the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center parking lot with advance reservation.

Media trucks can access an external mult-box in the parking lot at the rear of the Cathedral. Print and Radio media can access an additional mult-box with program closed circuit video feed in the Neumann Room, also accessible from the parking lot at the rear of the Cathedral.
