Catholic Housing and Community Services’ of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to Host Thanksgiving Luncheon Celebrations for Senior Residents

Catholic Housing and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (CHCS) will once again host Thanksgiving luncheon celebrations for residents of its affordable senior housing communities.

Dedicated staff from Saint Francis Villa, located in the East Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, will host a Thanksgiving celebration for approximately 25 senior residents. The celebration will include door prizes, fall activities, and an array of diverse potluck-style Thanksgiving dishes which will be shared among the residents.

In addition, nearly 40 senior residents at Nativity B.V.M. Place, located in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, will enjoy a Thanksgiving meal thanks to a generous donation from Honey’s Angels. Since 2015, Honey’s Angels has provided support to the residents of Nativity B.V.M. through Thanksgiving meals, birthday celebrations, and more.
