Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. Announces Initiative for the Renewal of Marriage and Family Life

Remain in My Love seeks to strengthen the bonds of marriage and family,
the building blocks of society

Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. announces a new Archdiocesan initiative, Remain in My Love. It will focus on the renewal of marriage and family life and take place over the next three years.

Remain in My Love is designed for the benefit of all clergy, religious, and lay faithful, and for every parish and ministry of the local Church. It seeks to reinvigorate our understanding, practices and celebrations of Christian marriage and family life.

The program’s first year will focus on providing staff from the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center with a renewed sense of service and mission to married couples and families.  During the second year, the program will be turn keyed for staff members serving in parishes, schools, and other entities affiliated with the Archdiocese. In year three, it will be shared directly with married couples and families throughout the five-county Archdiocese.

The project will include catechesis on significant biblical and pastoral themes regarding marriage and family life and guided reflection on these themes in small groups.
