Archbishop Chaput To Ordain Rev. Mr. Christopher C. Moriconi To The Priesthood

Born in Huntingdon Valley (Montgomery County), Rev. Mr. Christopher C. Moriconi has been serving as a deacon at Saint Andrew Parish in Newtown (Bucks County). He attended Ancillae-Assumpta Academy in Wyncote, PA, and Saint Joseph’s Preparatory High School in Philadelphia. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Berklee College of Music and his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology Degrees at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

The homilist will be Reverend Dennis J. Carbonaro. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor Paul Dougherty, Reverend Monsignor Michael Magee, Reverend Monsignor Michael Picard, and Reverend Joseph Gleason.

There are six men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2014. Each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish.
