Father Moore was born on October 18, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late George Boyce Moore and the late Jean Santilla. Father Moore attended Saint Callistus Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Thomas More High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Moore was ordained on May 21, 1966, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence John Cardinal Krol. Father Moore served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Timothy Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Mark Parish, Bristol; Saint Raymond of Penafort Parish, Philadelphia; and Saint Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Philadelphia. In November 1978, he was appointed Pastor, Saint Benedict Parish, Philadelphia, and named Pastor Emeritus in 2013.
The Reception of the Body will be held at Saint Benedict Church, on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 4:00 PM, followed by a viewing. A parish Mass will be held at 7:00 PM. Most Reverend Timothy C. Deacon Donald J. Kretsch, retired Permanent Deacon, died on Friday, December 19, 2014, after a short illness.
Deacon Kretsch was born on April 30, 1926 to the late Roman J. Kretsch and Viola Scheman in New Ulm, Minnesota. He attended Saint Mary's Parochial School, Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, and New Ulm High School, Minnesota. Deacon Kretsch entered the U. S. Merchant Marines where he served for one year. In 1946, he married Mary Romano they were married for 68 years. They have two children, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Deacon Kretsch was employed as a laborer for B.F. Goodrich, and retired in the early 1990's.
Deacon Kretsch was ordained a Permanent Deacon on June 5, 1994 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia by Most Reverend Edward P. Cullen. He was assigned to Holy Saviour Parish in Norristown, where he served until his retirement in 2004. Following retirement, Deacon Kretsch assisted at Saint Helena Parish in Blue Bell for ten years. He was very involved in many works of charity during his entire career as a deacon.
Reception of the body will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Saint Helena Church, Blue Bell, at 9:00 AM, followed by a viewing. The Most Reverend Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Reverend Monsignor Francis A. Menna, Retired, died at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
Monsignor Menna was born on May 3, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Anthony Menna and the late Antoniette Melchiorre. Monsignor Menna attended Saint Thomas Aquinas Parochial School, Philadelphia, LaSalle High School, and LaSalle College before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor Menna was ordained on May 16, 1964, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by the Most Reverend John J. Krol and named Honorary Preplate of His Holiness Pope John Paul II on May 29, 1991. Monsignor Menna served as Parochial Vicar, Holy Saviour Parish, Norristown; Saint Dorothy Parish, Drexel Hill; Saint Mary Parish, Schwenksville; and Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Philadelphia. Monsignor Menna also served as Assistant Controller for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and as a Faculty member, Saint Pius X High School, Pottstown. In 1978 Monsignor Menna was appointed Pastor, Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Philadelphia. In 1985 he was appointed Parochial Administrator and later Pastor, Saint Patrick Parish, Malvern. In 1989 he was named Regional Vicar, Delaware County Vicariate. In 1997 he was appointed Rector, Villa Saint Joseph, and Administrator, Department of Retired Priests. Monsignor Menna retired in 2005.

Deacon Jose A. Fontanez, a permanent deacon on health leave, died on December 10, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was 81 years old.
Deacon Fontanez and his wife were members of the Cathedral parish.
Deacon Fontanez was born on February 7, 1933, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He was educated in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and was fluent in both Spanish and English. Deacon Fontanez was a carpenter by trade, and had been employed as a cabinet maker prior to retirement.
Deacon Fontanez is survived by his wife Edna Olmedo, whom he married in 1953. He is also survived by three adult children: two sons, Ronald and Jose, and a daughter, Edna. In addition Deacon Fontanez had nine grandchildren.
Deacon Fontanez was ordained a permanent deacon on October 31, 1981, by John Cardinal Krol. From November of 1981 until July of 2008, he was assigned to Incarnation of Our Lord Parish (closed in 2013). He was also given a secondary assignment as Assistant to the Moderator of the Cursillo Movement. His health began to fail in the early to mid-2000's, and in 2008, Deacon Fontanez moved to Florida. He returned to Philadelphia in approximately 2010.
His funeral will be celebrated on Monday, December 16, 2014, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, beginning with a reception of the body and a viewing at 8:30 AM, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10 AM. The principal celebrant will be the Most Reverend John J. McIntyre. Concelebrant and homilist for the Funeral Mass will be Reverend Peter J. Welsh. The Deacon of the Mass will be Deacon Felipe Cruz. Deacon Martin P. LoMonaco, Permanent Deacon, Saint Agnes Parish, West Chester, PA, died on Friday, November 28, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Deacon LoMonaco was born on October 26, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY. He was employed as a professor of communications for over 30 years. For the last ten years, he was a professor at Neumann University in Aston, PA. He was bestowed the title of Professor Emeritus from SUNY Albany. He held three masters degrees as well as a Ph.D. His academic areas of expertise were communications, media, and speech.
Deacon LoMonaco was ordained for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY on May 26, 2001, by Most Reverend Emil C. Wcela and was assigned to Saint Francis de Chantal Parish where he served until June, 2003. In 2008, Deacon LoMonaco obtained permission from the Most Reverend Gregory John Mansour, Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn, NY, to serve at Saint Sharbel Maronite Church, Newtown Square, PA. He served there until late 2013. On January 10, 2014, Deacon LoMonaco was assigned to Saint Agnes Parish in West Chester, PA. Deacon LoMonaco remained incardinated for the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Father Barr attended Saint Rose of Lima and Saint Callistus Parochial Schools, Philadelphia, and West Catholic High School before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary
Father Barr was ordained on May 22, 1948, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by the Most Reverend J. Carroll McCormick. Father Barr served as a Parochial Vicar at All Saints Chapel, Philadelphia; Our Lady of Grace Parish, Penndel; Holy Saviour Parish, Linwood; Saint Patrick Parish, Norristown; Saint Eugene Parish, Primos; Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Secane; Saint James Parish, Elkins Park; Saint Philip Neri Parish, Lafayette Hills; Saint James Parish, Philadelphia and Saint Clement Parish, Philadelphia. In 1979, Father Barr was appointed Pastor, Saint Edmond Parish, Philadelphia, and Pastor Emeritus there in 1995.
In his retirement, Father Barr continued to exercise his priesthood by offering his service at parishes throughout the Archdiocese.

Father Fitzgerald served as Parochial Vicar, Saint Joseph Parish, Ashland; Annunciation Parish, Shenandoah; Annunciation B.V.M, Parish, Havertown; Saint Helena Parish, Philadelphia; Nativity B.V.M. Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Margaret Parish, Narberth. Father Fitzgerald also served as Faculty, Bishop Kenrick High School, and as Principal, Bishop Shanahan High School, Downingtown. He served as Parochial Administrator Saint Albert The Great Parish, Huntingdon Valley. In 1984, he was named Pastor, Immaculate Conception Parish, Levittown. Father Fitzgerald was appointed to Senior Priest status, Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, Philadelphia, in 2000. He retired from active ministry in 2004.

Monsignor Murray was born on November 27, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. he is the son of the late Daniel Murray and the late Kathleen Hoban. Monsignor Murray attended Saint Barbara Parochial School, Philadelphia, Saint Rose of Lima Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Thomas More High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary He also studied at the Gregorian University, Pontifical North American College, in Rome.
Monsignor Murray was ordained on July 12, 1964, at the Church of Dodici, Rome, Italy, by Most Reverend Philip Pocci, and named Honorary Prelate to His Holiness Pope John Paul II on November 20, 1986. Monsignor Murray served on the Faculty, Carinal O'Hara High School, Springfield. He also served as Parochial Vicar, Nativity B.V.M. Parish, Media. Monsignor Murray served on the Faculty at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary from 1970 through 1988, and served as Rector there from 1988 through 1994. In June 1994 he was appointed Pastor, Saint Charles Borromeo Parish, Drexel Hill, where he served for ten years. He was named Pastor at Saint Rose of Lima Parish, North Wales, in June 2004.

Father McLaughlin attended Holy Child Parochial School, Philadelphia and Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Father Feeney was born on November 1, 1919, in Minersville, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Frank Feeney and the late Mary Donahue. Father Feeney attended Saint Vincent de Paul Parochial School, Minersville, Minersville High School, and Penn State College, Pottsville, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Father Feeney attended Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., from 1948 to 1951, earning his J.C.D. degree. He served as Chaplain at the Catholic Home in Marple, and as Parochial Vicar, Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Philadelphia. Father Feeney served on the Faculty at Roman Catholic High School, Philadelphia, and on the Faculty at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook. Father Feeney also served as Assistant Rector, Saint Joseph-in-the-Hills Retreat House, Malvern. Father Feeney retired from active ministry in 1995.

Father Gallen was born April 30, 1920, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late George F. Gallen and the late Mary C. Dalton. Father Gallen attended Saint Charles Parochial School, Oakview, and West Catholic High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Gallen was ordained on May 31, 1947, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Hugh L. Lamb. Father Gallen served as Parochial Vicar at All Saints Chapel, Philadelphia; Saint Clement Parish, Philadelphia; and Saint Patrick Parish, Kennett Square, Father Gallen also served as Chaplain in the United States Air Force from 1952 through 1980. In 1982, Father Gallen was appointed Pastor, Saint Augustine Parish, Bridgeport, and was appointed Pastor Emeritus in 1995.

Monsignor Jaworowski was born on April 18, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Augustine Jaworowski and the late Katherine Bongard. Monsignor Jaworowski attended Saint Josaphat Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint John's High School, Manayunk, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor Jaworowski was ordained on June 3, 1944, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Hugh L. Lamb, and named Honorary Prelate to his Holiness Pope John Paul VI on January 18, 1976. Monsignor Jaworowski served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Anthony Padua Parish, Cumbola; Saint Hedwig Parish, Chester; Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish, Coaldale; and Saint Casimir Parish, Shenandoah. Monsignor Jaworowski also served on the faculty at Saint Pius X High School, Pottstown. Monsignor Jaworowski was appointed Pastor, Sacred Heart Parish, Clifton Heights, in 1971. In October 1972, Monsignor Jaworowski was appointed Pastor, Saint Adalbert Parish, Philadelphia, and named Pastor Emeritus in June 1994.

Father Freeman attended Saint Alice Parochial School, Upper Darby, and Monsignor Bonner High School, Drexel Hill, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Freeman was ordained on May 19, 1973, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence John Cardinal Krol. Deacon R. Steven Santoleri, Permanent Deacon, Saint Cornelius Parish, Chadds Ford, died at Christiana Hospital, on Friday, September 13, 2013. He was 55 years old and had a lengthy struggle with colorectal cancer.
Deacon Santoleri was born on June 18, 1958, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Adelaide Rofi Santoleri. He attended Our Lady of the Assumption Parochial School, Strafford, and Archbishop John Carroll High School, Radnor. He also received a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. Deacon Santoleri was employed by DuPont for 33 years, where he worked most recently as a Manager in Global Operations, retiring just this year..
Deacon Santoleri was ordained a permanent deacon on June 2, 2012, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Daniel J. Thomas, and assigned to Saint Cornelius Parish, Chadds Ford. Deacon Santoleri served on the Board of Directors for Generation Life in West Chester and Amigos de Jesus, an orphanage in Honduras, with their local office in Malvern. He also worked with Prolife Education Foundation in Philadelphia and Wilmington Legatus. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus at St. Cornelius Church and was involved with the King's Men in Lansdale.

Permanent Deacon John J. Davaro, retired, died at Taylor Hospital, on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
Deacon Davaro was born on July 1, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Saint Agatha Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Thomas More High School, Philadelphia. Deacon Davaro served in the United States Army from November 11,1944 to May 1,1946. He was honorably discharged on November 27, 1946. Following his service in the Army, Deacon Davaro entered the American Institute of Technology receiving a B.S. in Engineering in 1950. He later matriculated at Villanova University and received a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics in 1963. Deacon Davaro took early retirement to serve the Church when he entered the deacon formation program. Before then he worked for 27 years at RCA corporation as an engineering manager.
Deacon Davaro married Isabelle Bregatta on April 11, 1953, and they had three children (all adopted), Mary Louise, Susan, and Therese. Susan predeceased Deacon Davaro as did Susan's son, John. Both died of cardiac arrest as a result of a genetic predisposition to heart failure.
Deacon Davaro was ordained a permanent deacon on June 2, 1991, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Anthony J. Bevilacqua. Deacon Davaro is a long time member of Saint Dorothy Parish in Drexel Hill. He served there from 1991 until 2001 when illness prevented him from exercising his ministry as Deacon. He was officially relieved of his assignment to the parish on March 8, 2010.

Deacon Gladnick was born on August 12, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Blessed Virgin Mary Parochial School, Darby, and West Catholic High School, Philadelphia. He also received a B.S. degree in Education from Temple University and a M.A. degree in Education from Villanova University. Leo spent his whole life in the world of education both as a teacher and in administration. He retired from the Hatboro-Horsham School District in 1992.

He served at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Warminster, from 1986 through 1992. He also served at Ascension of Our Lord Parish, Philadelphia, from 1992 through 2012. In October 2012, he was reassigned back to Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Warminster.

Father Chwieroth was born on November 22, 1923, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late John Chwieroth and the late Adamina Michalak. Father Chwieroth attended Saint John Cantius Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Joseph's College High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Chwieroth was ordained on May 27, 1950, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend J. Carroll McCormick. Father Chwieroth served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Stanislaus Parish, Summit Hill; Saint Katherine of Siena Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Levittown; and Holy Angels Parish, Philadelphia. Father Chwieroth served on the faculty at Roman Catholic High School, Philadelphia; Saint James Catholic High School, Chester; and Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia. Father Chwieroth also served as Chaplin at Sacred Heart Hospital, Norristown, and Home of Divine Providence, Philadelphia. He retired from active ministry in 1998.

Deacon Joseph M. Cella, Jr., Permanent Deacon, Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Philadelphia, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
Deacon Cella was born on February 13, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Our Lady of Ransom Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Father Judge High School, Philadelphia. Deacon Cella also received a B.S degree in Criminal Justice and a M.S. degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Neumann College. Deacon Cella was employed by the City of Philadelphia Police Department as a Sergeant and Investigative Supervisor for the Major Crimes Unit.
Deacon Cella was ordained a permanent deacon on June 4, 2000, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Robert P. Maginnis. He served at Our Lady of Ransom Parish, Philadelphia, from June 2000 through June 2007. In 2007, he was transferred to Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Philadelphia.

Father Maher was born on January 1, 1929, in New York City, New York. He is the son of the late Bernard J. Maher and the late Evelyn M. Feeney. Father Maher attended Niagara University, LaSalle University and Temple University. He taught junior high school in the Philadelphia public school system for 32 years before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Maher was ordained on May 21, 1988, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Anthony J. Bevilacqua. Father Maher served as Parochial Vicar, Saint Bernadette Parish, Drexel Hill, and Stella Maris Parish, Philadelphia. He also served as Moderator of the Philadelphia Catholic Guild for All Blind; Chaplain, Catholic League for Physically Disabled People; Chaplain, Knights of Columbus Philadelphia Chapter; and Chaplain of the Blessed Cardinal Newman Alumni Group.

Deacon James A. Thompson, retired Permanent Deacon, died on Thursday, December 13, 2012, after a lengthy illness.
Deacon Thompson was born on November 30, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of LaSalle College with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He also studied at Temple University's School of Law from 1960 to 1961. He served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. He continued serving in the Naval Reserve until 1960 when he was honorably discharged. Deacon Thompson retired from the Federal Civil Service with over 39 years of service.
Deacon Thompson was ordained a permanent deacon on June 6, 1999, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua. He was assigned to Stella Maris Parish, Philadelphia, until January 15, 2010, when he retired from active ministry. He also had been active at one time as the Parish Tuition Committee Coordinator.

Father Coates was born on February 17, 1918, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Washington Coates and the late Mary A. Guckin. Father Coates attended Ascension, James Russell Lowell and Saint Helena's Elementary Schools, and Northeast Catholic High School, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Coates was ordained on December 15, 1945, by Most Reverend Hugh L. Lamb, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia. Father Coates served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish, Coaldale, and Saint Eleanor Parish, Collegeville. Father Coates also served as Chaplain, New Eastern State Penitentiary, Graterford, Pennsylvania, for twenty-three years. In June 1974, Father Coates was appointed Pastor, Saint Helena Parish, Blue Bell, and named Pastor Emeritus in June 1993.

Deacon Thomas E. Eichman, Permanent Deacon, Saint Kevin Parish, Springfield, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Broomall Presbyterian Village in Broomall, PA after a lengthy illness.
Deacon Eichman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Saint Joseph's Preparatory High School, Villanova University and Villanova University School of Law. He was a veteran of the Korean War with the US Army working in counter-intelligence. Deacon Eichman began his legal career with Schnader, Harrison, Segal, and Lewis in Philadelphia before leaving that firm to become a partner with attorney, John Donohue. He later practiced as Thomas E. Eichman Associates, P.C. until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the American Bar Association.
Deacon Eichman was ordained a permanent deacon on June 1, 1997, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Joseph F. Martino. He was assigned to Saint Kevin Parish, Springfield. He also served as chaplain of the Legion of Mary.

Monsignor Kehoe attended Our Lady of the Rosary Parochial School, Philadelphia, and West Philadelphia Catholic High School, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Powers Public School, Jones Junior High School, and Northeast Public High School, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Romano was ordained on May 11, 1957, at Immaculate Conception Church, Germantown, by Most Reverend John F. O’Hara, C.S.C. Deacon James T. Walker, retired Permanent Deacon, died on Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
Deacon Walker was born on October 7, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan. He was a United States Army Veteran who served during World War II. While serving in the Army, Jimmy met his late wife, Bernice Washington After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, Deacon Walker was an accountant at the U. S. Naval Depot, where he received several commendations for his outstanding job performance. After 30 years of service, he retired in 1980. He continued his education and earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Trenton State Community College.
Deacon Walker was ordained a permanent deacon on May 24, 1987, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Martin N. Lohmuller. He was assigned to Saint Benedict Parish, Philadelphia, and ministered there for 16 years until his retirement in December 2003.

Deacon William E. Champagne, retired Permanent Deacon, died on Sunday, September 9, 2012
Deacon Champagne was born on January 12, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Army and after the service began a career in printing with General Electric and eventually opened his own shop. He later worked and retired from American General Insurance where he was an Insurance Consultant.
Deacon Champagne was ordained a permanent deacon on June 5, 1994, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints and Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by most Reverend Edward P. Cullen. He was assigned to Our Lady of Hope Parish, Philadelphia, and was honored for his sixteen years of faithful service there on November 20, 2010.

Deacon Boleslaw S. Wojewodka, retired Permanent Deacon, died on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
Deacon Wojewodka was born on May 14, 1923, in the village of Siekiewiczowka near Tarnopol in what was then a part of Poland. He was attending a military academy when in February 1940 he was taken from his home along with his family by the Russians. He joined the Polish Army under British command and made his way through the Middle East to Great Britain. As a member of the Polish Independent Parachute Brigade which supported the British 1st Airborne Division he took part in the battle of Arnhem, Holland, where he was seriously wounded. He retired from the military and he holds the rank of Major. He earned Gold and Silver Crosses of Merit and British and Holland Tour of Duty medals.
Deacon Wojewodka graduated from the Polish Commercial College in Glasgow, Scotland in 1948. He received diplomas from the School of Foreign Trade in London and the Polish School of Politics and Social Sciences. He attended Hofstra University in New York where he earned a Bachelor=s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Finance.
Deacon Wojewodka was ordained a permanent deacon on May 29, 1988, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Anthony J. Bevilacqua. Deacon Wojewodka served as Permanent Deacon at Saint Hedwig Parish, Chester; Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, Chester, and Sacred Heart Parish, Clifton Heights. He retired in July 2007.

Deacon Kruckenberger was born on November 11, 1936 in Philadelphia. He was retired as a Regional Sales Manager from Coil Company, Inc. He graduated from Drexel University with a Master's of Science degree in Engineering Management in 1973.
Deacon Kruckenberger was ordained a permanent deacon on June 7, 1998 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Anthony J. Bevilacqua. Deacon Kruckenberger was assigned to Saint John Bosco Parish in Hatboro since his ordination. He retired from his assignment on November 25, 2009.

Father Dininni was ordained an Oblate of Saint Joseph by Most Reverend James Clifford Timlin, on October 16, 1993, at Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Exeter, Pennsylvania, and was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on February 4, 2002. Father Dininni served as an Oblate of Saint Joseph both as Assistant Pastor and Pastor, Saint Rocco Parish, Pittston, Pennsylvania. Father Dininni served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Cecilia Parish, Coatesville, and Saint Patrick Parish, Malvern. He also served as Pastor at Immaculate Conception Parish, Levittown.

Father Cusick was born on September 22, 1936, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Joseph P. Cusick and the late Alice L. Gordon. Monsignor Barszczewski attended Saint Laurentius Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Joseph Preparatory School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor Barszczewski was ordained on May 18, 1968, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence John Cardinal Krol, and named Honorary Prelate to His Holiness Pope John Paul II on March 14, 1998. Monsignor Barszczewski served as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Southampton, and Saint Ladislaus Parish, Philadelphia. He also attended graduate studies at the North American College in Rome, Italy. Monsignor Barszczewski served on the Faculty at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Overbrook. He also served as Secretary and Archdiocesan Judge in the Office of the Metropolitan Tribunal. Monsignor Barszczewski served as Professor and Chaplain at Neumann University from 1982 to 1994. In June 1994, Monsignor Barszczewski was appointed Pastor at Sacred Heart Parish, Clifton Heights. He retired from active ministry in October 2007.

Father Garzarelli was born on November 9, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Fred Garzarelli and the late Theresa Colagreco. Father Garzarelli attended Saint Donato Parochial School, Philadelphia, Saint Thomas More High School, Philadelphia, and the College of St. Charles Borromeo, Columbus, Ohio, before studying for the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions in Newark, Ohio, and Detroit, Michigan.
Father Garzarelli was ordained for the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions (PIME), on March 18, 1961, by Most Reverend John Donavan, in Detroit, Michigan, and was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on September 24, 1975. As a PIME Missionary priest he served in Hong Kong, India, and New Guinea. Father Garzarelli served as Parochial Vicar at Saints Cosmas and Damian Parish, Conshohocken; Saint Patrick Parish, Kennett Square; Mater Dolorosa Parish, Philadelphia; and Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Philadelphia. Father Garzarelli served as Pastor, Mater Dolorosa Parish, Philadelphia, from 1982-1994. Father Pohl was born on July 16, 1932, in Oborniki, Poland. He was ordained on July 1, 1967, by His Eminence Cardinal Boleslaw Kominek for the Archdiocese of Wroclaw, Poland, and was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 30, 1984.
Father Pohl served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Laurentius Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Hedwig Parish, Chester; Saint Mary Parish, Conshohocken; and Saint Adalbert Parish, Philadelphia. He retired from active ministry in June 2003.

Monsignor Flood was ordained on December 20, 1958, at the North American College Chapel, Rome, by Most Reverend Martin J. O'Connor, and named Honorary Prelate to His Holiness Pope John Paul II on April 24, 1982. Monsignor Flood served as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Martin of Tours Parish, New Hope; and Saint Anastasia Parish, Newton Square. In 1963, he received a doctorate in systematic theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University. Monsignor Scanlon was born on February 12, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late William S. Scanlon and the late Irene W. Murphy. Monsignor Duane attended Saint Bartholomew Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Northeast Catholic High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor Scanlon was ordained on May 7, 1959, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence John Cardinal O'Hara, and named Honorary Prelate to His Holiness Pope John Paul II on May 29, 1991. Monsignor Scanlon served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish, Chester Heights; Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Norristown; Nativity B.V.M. Parish, Philadelphia; and Saint Titus Parish, East Norriton. Monsignor Scanlon served on the Faculty at Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia, and at Bishop McDevitt High School, Wyncote. He also served as Rector at Saint Joseph's-in-the-Hills Retreat House, Malvern. Monsignor Scanlon served as Pastor, Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, Philadelphia, from 1989 through 1996.

Monsignor Devlin was born on November 26, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late John F. Devlin and the late Veronica M. Hennessey. Monsignor Devlin attended Notre Dame Academy Parochial School and LaSalle College High School before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor Devlin was ordained on May 19, 1955, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend John F. O'Hara, and named Honorary Prelate of His Holiness Pope Paul VI, on January 18, 1976. He was named Protonotary Apostolic on March 24, 2003. Monsignor Devlin served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Patrick Parish, Pottsville; Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Norristown; Our Lady of Ransom Parish, Philadelphia; and Saint Bartholomew Parish, Philadelphia. In 1973, Monsignor Devlin was appointed Executive Director, Cardinal's Commission on Human Relations, and in June 1982, he was appointed Pastor, Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Philadelphia, where he served for seven years. In July 1989, Monsignor Devlin was appointed Regional Vicar, Philadelphia - North, and in September 1997, he was appointed Vicar for Renewal and Evangelization. In December 2003, he was appointed Director, Society for the Propagation of the Faith.

Monsignor LaHart was born on July 5, 1925, in Williamstown, New Jersey. He is the son of the late Richard P. J. LaHart and the late Mary Curran. Monsignor LaHart attended Saint Gregory Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Thomas More High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor LaHart was ordained on May 10, 1952, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend John F. O'Hara, and named Honorary Prelate to His Holiness Pope John Paul II on December 18, 1985. Monsignor LaHart served as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Pompeii Parish, Bethlehem; Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish, Chester Heights; and Saint John Bosco Parish, Hatboro. Monsignor LaHart also served on the Faculty at Monsignor Bonner High School, Drexel Hill, and Bishop McDevitt High School, Wyncote. Monsignor LaHart served as Principal, Bishop Kenrick High School, Norristown, from 1966 through 1978. In June 1978, Monsignor LaHart was appointed Pastor, Saint Philip Neri Parish, Lafayette Hill, and named Pastor Emeritus there in 2000.

Permanent Deacon Walter F. Kelly, Jr., died on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Deacon Kelly was born on March 9, 1930, in Passaic, New Jersey. He attended Nutley High School in Nutley, New Jersey, and received a B.S. degree from St. Peter=s College in North Jersey. He married Virginia Tessalone on October 5, 1957. They had three children: Beth Ann, David and Robert. Virginia died on February 22, 2007, due to cancer.
Deacon Kelly was ordained for the Archdiocese of Newark on December 12, 1976, by Archbishop Peter Leo Gerety. He was then assigned to serve at Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish, Bloomfield, New Jersey, where he remained until he moved to Pennsylvania in 1986. Deacon Kelly was assigned to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Doylestown, in May 1986 and served there until his retirement in March 2005. He also served as the Business Manager at Our Lady of Mount Carmel for nearly twenty years. Deacon Kelly was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on December 12, 2001.

Reverend Monsignor Albert V. Norrell, Pastor Emeritus, Saint Carthage Parish, Philadelphia, died of Cancer at Villa Saint Joseph, Darby, on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
Monsignor Norrell was born on June 22, 1923, in Richmond, Virginia. He is the son of the late Moses Alphonso Norrell and the late Adelaide L. Philips. Monsignor Norrell attended both elementary and secondary school in Richmond, Virginia. Monsignor Norrell received a B.A. in history at Virginia Union University and a M.A. in elementary education at Temple University. He spent over 25 years working with the School District of Philadelphia, retiring as a principal in 1983. He entered the Permanent Diaconate Formation Program for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 1979 and was ordained a Permanent Deacon by His Eminence John Cardinal Krol on November 7, 1982, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. In 1984, he began studies for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at the seminary at Pontificio Collegio Beda in Rome.
Monsignor Norrell was ordained in Rome on May 29, 1988, by His Holiness Pope John Paul II and named an Honorary Prelate to His Holiness on May 29, 1991. Monsignor Norrell served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Philadelphia. In August 1989, Monsignor Norrell was appointed Pastor, Saint Carthage Parish, Philadelphia, and named Pastor Emeritus there in 1998. Monsignor Norrell also served as a spiritual director for the Legion of Mary.

Father Senske attended Saint Bartholomew Parochial School, and Northeast Catholic High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Senske was ordained on May 22, 1948, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend J. Carroll McCormick. Monsignor Hilferty was born on May 17, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Hugh L. Hilferty and Johanna McFaun. Monsignor Hilferty attended Holy Spirit Parochial School, Atlantic City, New Jersey; Saint Alice Parochial School, Stonehurst; and West Catholic High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Monsignor Hilferty was ordained on May 10, 1952, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend John F. O'Hara, and named Honorary Prelate to His Holiness Pope John Paul II on May 29, 1991. Monsignor Hilferty served as Parochial Vicar at All Saints Chapel, Philadelphia; Saint Margaret Parish, Narberth; and Saint Mary Magdalen De Pazzi Parish, Philadelphia. Monsignor Hilferty served as a Military Chaplain in the United States Navy from 1957 through 1977. Monsignor Hilferty also served as Pastor, Saint Francis de Sales Parish, Philadelphia, from 1977 through 1989. He served as Regional Vicar, Philadelphia-South Vicariate from 1989 through 1992. In October 1992, Monsignor Hilferty was appointed Pastor, Queen of Peace Parish, Ardsley, and was named Pastor Emeritus in June 1998. Deacon Velazquez was born on April 8, 1928, in Puerto Rico. He moved to the United States at the age of twenty-two.
Deacon Velazquez was ordained a permanent deacon on October 31, 1981, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence John Cardinal Krol. After serving several years at Saint Veronica Parish, Philadelphia, he returned to Puerto Rico and ministered in the Diocese of Ponce. He was assigned to the Church of San Antonio de Padua in Guayama. His most noteworthy accomplishment was the organization and construction of the "Capilla" San Jose Obrero in Barrio de Brandari in the city of Guayama.

Deacon Joseph J. Manson, Permanent Deacon, Saint Genevieve Parish, Flourtown, died on Saturday, December 1, 2007.
Deacon Manson was born on January 27, 1933. He attended Cecilian Academy, Saint Madeleine Sophie and Holy Cross Parochial Schools and Northeast Catholic High School. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from LaSalle University. He also attended Temple University for graduate studies. Deacon Manson was a retired C.P.A. from the Office of Financial Affairs with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Deacon Manson was ordained a deacon on June 4, 1989, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by His Eminence Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua and was assigned to Saint Genevieve Parish.

Monsignor Centrella was born on May 4, 1927, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Bernard Centrella and the late Elvira Fischetti. Monsignor Centrella attended Saint Monica Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Southeast Catholic High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Father Conner attended Saint Bartholomew Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Northeast Catholic High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Father Conner was ordained on May 26, 1949, by Most Reverend Hugh L. Lamb, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia. Father Conner served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Patrick Parish, Pottsville; Saint Joseph Parish, Collingdale; Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Chester; Saint Dorothy Parish, Drexel Hill; Saint John the Baptist Parish, Philadelphia; and Saint Christopher Parish, Philadelphia. In January 1975, Father Conner was appointed Pastor, Saint John Fisher Parish, Boothwyn, were he served for 9 years. In June1984, he was appointed Pastor, Our Lady of Grace Parish, Penndel, and served there for thirteen years until he was appointed Pastor Emeritus in 1999.
