Archbishop Nelson J. Here is the direct link to the Archbishop’s full message which has also been shared on his social media platforms.

Archbishop Pérez said, “Our steadfast commitment is to focus on the holistic development of all students and equipping them to become servant leaders with the zealous heart of a Missionary Disciple.” He continued, “One of my greatest joys as Archbishop is seeing our students live out their faith.  I look forward to the coming academic year and visiting many of you at your school.”

In addition, Andrew McLaughlin, Ed.D. Secretary for Elementary Education, Nancy Kurtz, Interim Superintendent for Secondary Schools, and Jay DeFruscio, Chief Operating Officer for Secondary Schools shared messages expressing their excitement for the 2022-2023 school year.

Dr. McLaughlin said, “Last year ended on a high note as our students excelled in Terra Nova test. At every level in grades 3 to 7 more than 30 percent of the students performed in the top 25 percent nationally. Our students mean achievements scores were also above the national norm in every content area at every level tested in those grades.” He continued, “As with the close of last school year, we look forward to a safe and fruitful fall.”
