Volunteers Host Fifth Annual Christmas Brunch For Children Served By Catholic Social Services’ Bucks County Family Service Center

Dedicated volunteers from Bucks County will host the fifth annual Children’s Christmas Brunch for more than 120 young children and their families, most of whom are served by the Bucks County Family Service Center. The Bucks County Family Service Center is a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Sunday, December 16, 2018
10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (Cafeteria)
611 Wistar Road

Fairless Hills, PA 19030 (Bucks County)

Ms. Maritherese Mitchell, Administrator of the Bucks County Family Service Center said, “This is the fifth year volunteers have partnered with the Bucks County Family Service Center to host a Christmas Brunch for children and families who participate in the Center’s parenting and pregnancy programs. Families from the community who have reached out to the Center for holiday assistance have been invited to attend as well. Given the number of families invited, volunteers asked administrators from Conwell-Egan Catholic High School to use space within the school.”

The Bucks County Family Service Center is the first point of contact for individuals, families, and parishes seeking assistance from Catholic Social Services. It is one of seven such centers located throughout the five-county metropolitan area. Each provides intake and assessment for individuals and families to assist them in accessing benefits and services.
