The Archdiocese Of Philadelphia Releases Inspirational And Instructional Videos Ahead Of The Projected Resumption Of The Public Celebration Of Mass In The Five-County Region
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia (AOP) has released a series of inspirational and instructional videos as public Masses resume across the five-county region beginning the weekend of June 6-7, 2020. That resumption will take place with due respect for and adherence to guidelines set forth by governmental health agencies.
The “Returning to Mass Videos” are part of “Arise: Restoring Catholic Life After the Pandemic,” an Archdiocesan initiative designed to invigorate parish life after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted (archphila.org/arise). This program provides parishes and Archdiocesan institutions with guidance and resources for worship, catechesis, evangelization, and communications to help clergy and faithful reintegrate into active, in-person participation in Mass and parish activities.

Returning to Mass Testimonial Videos
The Returning to Mass videos are a compilation of testimonies from local Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholics about their excitement to return to Mass after their prolonged fast from the Eucharist during the COVID-19 restrictions. They are designed to inspire confidence and joy in returning to Mass and a sense of “rising from the tomb” with Christ as we emerge from the difficult period of lock down.
