Rev. Mr. Manuel Flores to be Ordained to the Priesthood by Archbishop Chaput

The Rev. Mr. Manuel Flores, 28, son of Mr. Ismael Flores and Mrs. Yeidy Rodriguez, will be ordained to the Priesthood by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap.

A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Rev. Mr. Flores has been serving as a transitional deacon at Sacred Heart Parish, Oxford, PA, and assisted at Saint Rocco, PA, for the past year. He attended John H. Elkin Elementary School, John Paul Jones Middle School, Jules E. Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia and he earned his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Divinity (2017) and his Master of Arts (2018) degrees from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood.

The homilist will be Reverend Gus Puleo. Concelebrants include Most Reverend John McIntyre, Reverend Herbert Sperger, Reverend Michael Hennelly, and Reverend Michael Speziale.

There are six men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2018.
