Rev. Mr. Brandon M. Artman to be Ordained to the Priesthood by Archbishop Chaput

The Ordination Mass will be streamed live at www.archphila.org and broadcast via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/ArchbishopChaput.

The Rev. Mr. Brandon M. Artman, 38, son of Mr. Glenn and Mrs. Rose Artman, will be ordained to the Priesthood by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap.

A native of West Chester (Chester County), Rev. Mr. Artman has been serving as a transitional deacon at Saint Patrick Parish in Malvern, PA, for the past year. He attended Saint Agnes Parish School (2001) and West Chester East High School (2005) in West Chester, PA. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (2012) from West Chester University, his Master of Divinity (2017) and his Master of Arts (2018) Degrees from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood.

The homilist will be Reverend Monsignor Arthur E. Rodgers. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor Gerard Mesure, Reverend Monsignor Michael McCulken, Reverend Christopher Redcay, and Reverend Sean Carpenter.

There are six men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2018.

Editor’s Note: The newly ordained priests will be assigned, at the conclusion of the Ordination Mass, to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish.
