Remain in My Love
Third Year: January to December 2019
Married Couples and Families of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
Rediscovering the Mission of Marriage and the Family
This third and final year (2019) of Remain in My Love brings the Church’s good news about marriage and family life to all of the people of the Archdiocese. The three key topics of Years 1 and 2 will be presented in Plenary Sessions throughout the Archdiocese and are open to everyone. These presentations aim to immerse all of us in the splendor of Christ’s teachings about marriage and family and to provide a way for married couples and families to meet and support one another. In addition, all are invited to consider launching or participating in a CanaVox small study group. More information about CanaVox can be found below. There is no more urgent time than now to bring marriage and family to new life and to work to protect this most precious institution created by God.
Part I: Plenary Sessions
The 2019 Plenary Sessions will take place primarily on Sundays. Families are encouraged to “make a day of it”, attending Mass together, perhaps going out to eat together and then attending a session. All are asked to register for the sessions using the link below.
The Plenary Sessions will include:
- A keynote address by a national Catholic speaker:
- A personal witness from a married couple
- Discussion, Q & A and a call to action on the topic
- Childcare will be available at each session
- Local marriage and family ministry information
Part II: CanaVox Small Groups
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is partnering with CanaVox to provide small reading and discussion groups on the most pressing issues concerning marriage and family life. In these groups, participants will gather to explore and discuss the truths of the Catholic faith and natural law concerning marriage. Consider launching your own group or joining one!
