The Archdiocese of Philadelphia will host Catholic Life Congress 2001, an annual educational gathering for all laity, religious and clergy, professionals and volunteers, young and old, men and women from every walk of life. This two-day program is designed for people who wish to learn more about the Church, its teachings and practices, and all who serve in leadership positions in the Church. The Congress will be held on:

Friday Night, November 16th - 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 17th - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
1210 First Avenue
King of Prussia, PA

Schedule for Friday evening is:

6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Registration, entertainment by local musicians, art and exhibits
7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Keynote Prayer Reflection by Sister Beatrice Jeffries, SBS
Concert by Derek Campbell and Dr. Bob Hurd
8:30 - 10:00 p.m. Food Festival: A Taste of Philadelphia Diversity, Local Music, Art and Exhibits

Schedule for Saturday is:

8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Registration, Exhibits, Local Art and Music
9:30 a.m. Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Celebrant and Homilist at Mass
11:00 - 12:00 noon Presentations
12:00 - 1:15 p.m. Lunch Buffet
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Keynote Address by Dr. Michael Downey, Professor in
Systematic Theology and Spirituality, and Author
Topic: Many Gifts, One Call: Sharing in the Mission of Word and Spirit
2:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Presentations
4:00 p.m. Closing Prayer
