CARDINAL BEVILACQUA TO PRESIDE AT INTERFAITH PRAYER SERVICE IN HONOR OF REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will preside at the 18th annual Archdiocesan Interfaith Prayer Service in honor of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event is sponsored by the Office for Black Catholics and the Office for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The Reverend William B. Moore will be the keynote speaker. Reverend Moore is the pastor of the Tenth Memorial Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Moore's reflection will address the national theme:
"Remember! Celebrate! Rededicate! Act! A day on, not a day off!"

Members from many faith communities, races, nationalities and races will take part in the service. Everyone is welcome and invited to wear the attire of their ancestral land.
