House Blessing For Former Residents Of Don Guanella Village

Catholic Social Services (CSS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will hold a Blessing for two of its group homes in Downingtown for former residents of Don Guanella Village.

Downingtown, PA

After the first House Blessing the participants including the residents of the two houses, their relatives, direct care staff, management team of Catholic Social Services’ Developmental Programs Division, Saint Joseph’s Parish, Downingtown, Friend of Don Guanella members, and neighbors will process about two blocks to the location of the second house (502 Grant Ave) for the second House Blessing.

The Developmental Programs Division of Catholic Social Services offers persons with developmental disabilities a continuum of care designed to enhance their quality of life by promoting individuality, empowering personal choice, promoting dignity and respect, and nourishing a family spirit rooted in Christian faith and values.
