1923- 2015

 Reverend Henry C. Graf, Pastor Emeritus, Saint Isidore Parish, Quakertown, died at Villa Saint Joseph, Darby, on Thursday, May 14, 2015.

Father Graf was born on February 11, 1923, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Henry C. Graf and the late Mary Schreck. Father Graf attended Saint Ludwig Parochial School, Philadelphia, and Saint Joseph Preparatory High School, Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Father Graf was ordained on May 26, 1949, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, by Most Reverend Hugh L. Lamb. Father Graf served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Elizabeth Parish, Pen Argyl; Saint John Baptist de la Salle Parish, Shillington: Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish, Chester Heights; Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Allentown; Saint Raymond of Penafort Parish, Philadelphia; Saint Katherine of Siena Parish, Philadelphia; Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Philadelphia; and Saint Dominic Parish, Philadelphia. In 1978, Father Graf was appointed Pastor, Saint Isidore Parish, Quakertown, and Pastor Emeritus there, in 1998.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015, at Saint Isidore Church, Quakertown, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The Reception of the Body will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Church, Warminster, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at 9:00 AM followed by a viewing. Most Reverend Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will celebrate a Funeral Mass for Father Graf at 11:00AM. Concelebrating the Funeral Mass will be Reverend Angelo R. Citino, Reverend Monsignor William J. J. O’Donnell, Reverend Francis J. Cornely, and Reverend Monsignor James Beisel will be the homilist.

A Memorial Mass will also be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Saint Isidore Church, Quakertown at 9:00 AM.

Father Graf is survived by his cousins. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchure Cemetery Philadelphia.
