Coordinator of Religious Education
The Coordinator of Religious Education position is a twelve month, 20 hours per week which includes nights and weekends. Candidates must be fully initiated and practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Coordinate Religious Education Program for parish children who attend public and non-catholic private school which includes Home Based Catechesis Program (Grades K-7)
• Coordinate sacramental preparation (1st Penance, 1st Communion, Confirmation)
• Coordinate and follow guidelines and policies of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
• Participate in the monthly meetings and events provided by the Archdiocesan Association of Parish Directors, Coordinators.

Professional qualifications should include
• a Master/Bachelor in Theology, Religious Studies or an approved equivalent;
• a minimum of three years experience as a Coordinator of Religious Education (preferred) or an administrator/teacher in a Catholic Elementary School.

This newly created position is part time (19 hrs/12 months) and includes nights and weekends. Main responsibilities are to assist the CRE with the:
-Parish Religious Education Program (K-6; 600 children)
-Sacrament program for the P.R.E.P. and School families

Parish Director of Religious Education
The Director of Religious Education position is a full time position which includes nights and weekends. Candidates must be fully initiated and practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church; have good communication skills; collaborate with parish staff; and speak Spanish.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Organize and administer the Parish Religious Education Program (400+ children)
• Oversee the Sacramental Program for School-age Candidates; collaborate with
  School Principal (400+ students); organize liturgical celebrations
• Recruit and train catechists for Parish Religious Education Program
• Provide faith formation for catechists and encourage catechist certification
• Provide faith formation opportunities for parents
• Follow guidelines and policies of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
• Develop and maintain a budget
