Archdiocesan Office for Black Catholics to Host Two-Day Spiritual Revival

The event will feature inspiring preaching, uplifting prayer, and powerful music 

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Black Catholics, along with various parishes composing the Black Catholic community in the region, are hosting a Revival. It will feature two evenings of music, worship, preaching, and prayer.  Its aim is to renew and revive the spirit of all in attendance.

Monday, September 25 and Tuesday, September 26, 2017
6:30 p.m. (Prelude – Philadelphia Catholic Mass Choir)
7:00 p.m. (Revival)

The Revival homilist will be Reverend Paul Whittington, O.P., from the Archdiocese of Chicago. He will be joined by the 100 member Philadelphia Catholic Gospel Mass Choir, and the Immanuel Movement Praise Team, which will perform a special praise dance.

Canned goods will be collected at the Revival on Tuesday, September 26th to benefit Mother of Mercy House, an Archdiocesan social service and evangelization ministry serving the Kensington and Allegheny neighborhoods of Philadelphia.
