Archbishop Chaput to Celebrate Mass at 35th Annual Catholic Charismatic Renewal Conference

Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will be the main celebrant and homilist at Mass during the 35th Annual Catholic Charismatic Renewal Conference.

“Unity and Diversity in the Body of Christ” is the theme of this year’s conference. The conference will feature speakers Dr. Mark Nimo and Jesse Romero.

Dr. Mark Nimo, born in Ghana, underwent a deep personal conversion after encountering the Catholic Charismatic Renewal after high school. He received ministry training at the International Catholic Program of Evangelization. He was a representative to English and Portuguese speaking Africa on the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services Council for 10 years. He has ministered in over 33 countries and has a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology.

Jesse Romero is a nationally acclaimed, full-time Catholic Lay Evangelization. He is the director of his preaching apostolate, “On Fire Evangelization.” Romero has hosted several radio shows including ETWN radio’s “Reason for Faith,” Guadalupe Radio’s “La Verdad te hara Libre,” and Immaculate Heart Radio’s “The Jesse and Terry Show.” He has a Master’s degree in Catholic Theology.
